▶ The UK REACH timeline
- New Registration: From October 28, 2021
- Transition period: A grace period (end of 20.12.31) after the UK leaves the EU and until the UK law officially enters into force. It is possible to respond to UK REACH through EU REACH registration
- Grandfathering: If the company registered the substance under the EU REACH regulations is a UK-based company if basic information is submitted before the Grandfathering period (21.04.30 deadline), a grace period for submitting registration dossier according to the tonnage and risk is received (see table).
- Downstream User Import Notification (DUIN): Companies importing substances registered in EU REACH (for UK sub-users or distributors under EU REACH within two years prior to Brexit) will receive a grace period for submitting registered documents through DUIN declaration (2110.27 deadline)
